Tips and Tricks for Improving SharePoint 2007 Performance-Episode 27

Gravatar I have really been looking forward to trying WPF, since Windows.Forms is really awful. But it turns out that WPF, while a bit better designed, is awfully slow for any really complex application. The demo applications all look very nice, but once you really try to do somethnig with it it slows to a crawl. Thanks

Gravatar I agree that we all dream of the “easy button”, and sometimes those dreams deviate us from reality to such extent that there is not a single desire left to ever return to this reality. I am sick and tired of working with SharePoint 2007. To prevent common bottlenecks happens to be more difficult and even impossible day after day. Something should be done. I want to hope that your tips will help me improve SharePoint 2007 performance. I thank you in advance.

Gravatar I've heard other people say that as well--that the permisisons matrix is tough to grock, but different things work for different people. Did you find any of the other references we included helpful? Which ones work the best for you? Appreciate any feedback you have to offer.

Gravatar There is one button (actually buttons) that you can use to optimize SharePoint performance.

These button include Ncachepoint, avepoint and storagepoint.

From these software you will get BLOB externalization and caching. moreover ncachepoint also caches ASP.NET sessions, Lists, Views and merges, minifies CSS and Javascripts for enhanced performance.

These are the one click buttons for resolving sharepoint performance and scalability
